These terms are an agreement between you and Fourth Down Forecast ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the site, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the site.
Who can use it
You must be at least 18. You're responsible for your account and for keeping your password to yourself. One account per person.
Predictions are not advice
Our predictions, win probabilities, projected scores and "edge" figures come from a statistical model. They're for entertainment and analysis. They are not betting, financial or any other professional advice, and they will often be wrong. We don't take bets, and nothing here is an offer or solicitation to gamble. If you bet, that decision and its result are yours alone. Follow the laws where you live.

Pick'em, Outlast and groups
These are free games for fun. There are no prizes from us, and you may not use the site to run a paid pool or wager. Standings can be corrected if game data or scoring was wrong.
Your content
You own the comments and names you post. You give us permission to display them on the site to other members. Don't post anything illegal, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or someone else's private information, and don't impersonate anyone. We can remove content and suspend or delete accounts that break these rules.
Don't misuse the site
Don't try to break into accounts or systems, scrape the site in bulk, overload it, get around its limits, or use it to build a competing data product.
Our content
The site's design, code, model and written analysis are ours. Game and statistical data comes from third parties, including nflverse (CC BY 4.0), ESPN and Open-Meteo. Team names are the property of their owners. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by the NFL or any team.
Paid plans
If we offer paid plans, we'll show the price, billing period and cancellation terms before you subscribe, and those terms will be part of this agreement.
Ending your account
You can delete your account from Settings at any time. We may suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these terms, or stop offering the site, with notice where we reasonably can.
No warranty
The site is provided "as is" and "as available". We don't promise it will be accurate, complete, uninterrupted or error-free. Data can be late or wrong.
Limit of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for any losses from betting or other decisions made using the site. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $50.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts in Pima County, Arizona.
Changes
We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and tell you on the site before a significant change takes effect. Using the site after that means you accept the new terms.
